I think that this product is a great basic model. It doesnt do anything fancy to allow you to keep your information, but if all you need to know if you are in “Your Zone” or what your heart rate is at the moment this is a good option. You get used to the band on the chest, I dont realize its there anymore. I would recommend this item if you dont need to keep records.

The watch was nice and fuctional but I wanted a strapless version which I found in the Bowflex watch… The discription should have noted in bold print that you must use a chest strap for this watch to function. I returned it as soon as it arrived and I saw I needed to take off my shirt to use it…

I purchased the Timex to continually monitor my heart rate during exercise. I chose the Timex based on its reasonable price and Timex’s reputation for reliability. The monitor only works intermittently and when it does work the a reading it is not reliable. I consider it a wast of money and would not recommend it.

I thought I would have to pay a lot more for a HRM. The timex has worked fine for a month. I use it at the gym where the machines pick it up as well as the wristband. I also use it to keep track of stress while biking. I would highly recommend.

I have just started running and wanted to monitor my heart rate. I have been using this monitor for a month, every Mon-Wed-Fri, and it works very well and I have not had any problems.
